Previous meeting
On December 7, 2025, Seasters hosted Shakhtar in Odesa. The teams began the match cautiously: they created dangerous chances, but the goalkeepers acted reliably, so the score remained goalless before the break. In the first half, Colmenares, Bondarieva and Holovach had good opportunities. After the break, the Odesa side controlled the ball more often, pressed the Miners’ defence and eventually scored the decisive goal in the 85th minute – following a strike from Ngandi. Towards the end of the match, Manziuk received a red card, but Shakhtar failed to make use of the numerical advantage and equalise.
