FC Shakhtar sporting director Darijo Srna celebrates his birthday on May 1
Darijo is a Shakhtar legend. As a player, he represented the team from 2003 to 2018, setting the club record for appearances – 536 – and winning 26 trophies with the Miners. For the Orange-and-Blacks’ supporters, Srna became a symbol of dedication and unconditional love for the club, the highest professionalism and leadership – a true captain.
Today, Darijo Srna continues to develop Shakhtar in his role as sporting director. Thanks in part to his efforts, the team, even in the most difficult times, maintain a high level of performance and results on both the Ukrainian and European stages, as this season clearly shows.
