The Orange-and-Blacks prepare for their UEFA Champions League home fixture
On Monday, November 2, ahead of their UEFA Champions League MD4 clash with Portuguese side Sporting CP, Shakhtar players trained at London’s Stamford Bridge, the venue for tomorrow’s match.
In accordance with UEFA regulations, the first 15 minutes were open to the media, who watched the Miners go through their warm-up and several ball exercises. The rest of the session, now out of the journalists’ sight, saw Arda Turan’s players work on ball retention and pressing, passing and shooting, set pieces and specific match situations. As usual, the pre-match training session lasted around an hour.
As a reminder, the Shakhtar vs Sporting CP game will take place at Stamford Bridge in London on Tuesday, November 3. Kickoff is at 17:45 local time (19:45 Kyiv time). Tickets for the match, as well as Champions League packages for all the Miners’ home fixtures, are on sale.
