The team are preparing for their second UEFA Champions League match
On Tuesday, October 13, ahead of their UEFA Champions League league phase MD2 fixture against Greek side AEK, Shakhtar footballers trained on the pitch at Kingsmeadow in London.
According to UEFA regulations, the first 15 minutes were open to the media, giving journalists the opportunity to observe the team’s warm-up and ball work in rondos. The session then continued behind closed doors, with Arda Turan’s side working on passing, shooting, set pieces and match scenarios. As usual, the Pitmen’s pre-match training session lasted around an hour.
We remind you that the UEFA Champions League league phase round 2 fixture between Shakhtar and AEK will take place at Stamford Bridge in London on Wednesday, October 14, with kickoff scheduled for 20:00 local time (22:00 Kyiv time).
