The Miners are preparing for their away match in Milan
On Tuesday, October 20, ahead of their UEFA Champions League league phase MD3 fixture against Inter, Shakhtar footballers took to the pitch at the San Siro stadium, the venue for tomorrow’s meeting between the Ukrainian and Italian champions.
As stipulated by UEFA regulations, the first 15 minutes of the training session were open to the media, who watched Arda Turan’s side warm up and take part in some ball exercises. During the main part, the Miners worked on ball possession, short and medium-range passing, set pieces and shots on goal from various distances. The session lasted around an hour in total.
The UEFA Champions League MD3 fixture between Inter and Shakhtar will take place at the San Siro in Milan on Wednesday, October 21. The game kicks off at 22:00 Kyiv time.
