Shakhtar forward Luca Meirelles spoke live on UPL.TV about the win over Chornomorets
– Congratulations on the win and your goal contribution against Chornomorets! Tell us about your impressions of the match.
– Thank you for the congratulations! We are very happy to win with the support of the home crowd. It is important for us as we look to continue our winning run in the domestic league. We always have the highest ambitions, so the win is very important.
– Do you have any personal goals for the season?
– I’m quite a competitive player, so I’m always trying to set myself some goals, but I haven’t set any individual ones, meaning I don’t have specific targets for how many goals I should score or assists I should provide. What’s important is that my goal contributions first and foremost help Shakhtar win.
– Which of your goals did you like more: against Chornomorets or Karpaty?
– Both were great! It’s always nice to score and leave the pitch having found the net, so I can’t pick just one.
