Ukraine
The main team of the country kick off their 2026/27 UEFA Nations League campaign. From September 25 to October 5, the Blue-and-Yellows will hold 4 matches in the league phase: they will face Hungary twice and play one game each against Georgia and Northern Ireland. Head coach Andrea Maldera has called up 30 players to the national team, including 5 Shakhtar representatives: goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk, defenders Mykola Matviienko and Valerii Bondar, and midfielders Yehor Nazaryna and Oleh Ocheretko. Oleksandr Karavaiev and Dmytro Kryskiv are on the reserve list.

Brazil U20 are continuing their preparations for the South American U20 Championship, which will take place in January 2027. The team led by Paulo Victor are currently at a training camp in Spain, where they will play a series of friendly matches against the youth teams of Denmark (September 28, 19:00), the USA (October 1, 19:00) and Mexico (October 4, 12:00). The Seleção squad includes 4 Shakhtar players: midfielders Isaque Silva, Gabriel Carvalho and Bruninho, and forward Luca Meirelles.
Venezuela, Burkina Faso, Tunisia
Shakhtar midfielder Gleiker Mendoza has been called up to the Venezuela national team, who are currently holding a training camp in Asia and will play friendly matches against Japan (September 28), South Korea (October 2) and Jordan (October 6).
Shakhtar forward Lassina Traore has joined Burkina Faso, who will begin their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign. Burkina Faso will face Benin (September 25) and the Central African Republic (September 28). The team will also play a friendly against Argentina (October 3).
Shakhtar defender Alaa Ghram is also preparing for Tunisia’s first 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Uganda (September 24) and Botswana (September 28).
