Shakhtar players Andriy Totovytskyi and Artem Kholod reflect on the friendly vs Obolon-Brovar
Andriy Totovytskyi, midfielder:
- I’ve been training for just five days. Of course, I don’t feel myself fully ready yet, but it gradually improves. I’ve still got a lot of work to do to reach my best form. I had a major injury, with long recovery period. Thank God, today I’ve made my first appearance. For me, every minute now is like gold dust.

- I’ve got only positive emotions. I’m grateful to the coaching staff for the given opportunity. I think everything worked out for us: we controlled the game, especially in the first half, trying to do everything that was required by Luis Castro. It resulted in the goals scored and victory. How did I get that confidence? I don’t really know, I was preparing for it as for any regular test game, just tried to show my best qualities. It’s up to others to decide whether it worked or not. As for the goal, I want to thank Cipriano for his great pass: he rolled the ball, and I just stayed in the second third and volleyed it home. I’m really happy about scoring it!
