They held a draw for the 2021/22 First League fixture calendar among women's teams
Shakhtar women’s team with Roman Zaiev at the helm will make their debut in this tournament. In the 1st round, the Orange-and-Blacks will play Bahira Kropyvnytskyi (base date is 15 August), and in the 2nd round they will take on Kharkiv-based Persha Stolytsia (base date is 22 August).
Tournament format
The Ukrainian Championship First League is held in two groups (A and B) with 10 participants in each and in 2 stages - each team will play against all the rivals at home and away. The group winners will then play against each other to determine the champions, while the runner-up clubs will meet to compete for bronze medals.
Shakhtar's opponents
Shakhtar women's team will play in Group B. The opponents will be the following teams: Bahira (Kropyvnytskyi), Persha Stolytsia (Kharkiv), Chornomorets (Odesa), Kobra (Bilokurakyne), Vorskla (Poltava), Kharkivskyi Koledzh (Kharkiv), Dnipro-1 (Dnipro), Yunist-ShVSM (Chernihiv) and Nika (Mykolaiv).
