- There’s always something that doesn’t allow me to be one hundred percent happy. For example, in the first half we had to score not three, but more goals - four or five. Secondly, early in building up our defensive structures, we made several mistakes, one of which led to a goal against us. I didn't like it. Sikan? He’s scored a real stunner today. And he always has the right approach. We all must progress together: both Sikan and I, regardless of whether he plays for 1 minute or 90. He knows what I demand from him, so we can continue looking positively at that.

- Only tomorrow will we start thinking about Real Madrid. Victories always help to live an easier life and prepare for the next matches. Playing in the Champions League is always fun. We want to perform well all the time. Of course, we are trying our best to qualify in the Champions League, but I believe that Shakhtar's No.1 goal for this season is winning the Ukrainian league title. We must not forget that Shakhtar finished second last season. It’s not easy to achieve the goal I mentioned because Dynamo are a strong team with the coach whom I consider the maestro, who won the most titles.
- Viktor Skrypnyk has just recalled how tough Zorya are for Shakhtar. Before this meeting, Shakhtar failed to win four times in a row. Have you watched those matches? And what did you focus on? (Hazeya Po-Ukrayinsky)
- I know that Shakhtar have not defeated Zorya in the previous four games, but, to be honest, I haven’t watched them. We were preparing for it in the best possible way, and our players delivered a great performance. But it's over now. We should now think about Vorskla as well, we are meeting with them in a week’s time, in Poltava on Saturday.
- Does Trubin's return mean that he will be the first-choice goalkeeper in the next matches? (ZoryaLondonsk)
- Both Trubin and Pyatov are very strong goalkeepers. Pyatov is the history of Shakhtar and Ukraine. He’s always played really well, just like in the 10 games with us. We should be grateful to him because he made some key saves in the Champions League. Goalkeepers in particular cannot be changed in every match. Therefore, I decided to have Trubin in the starting lineup. But I like to always speak directly with the players, face to face. Prior to this decision, I had a word with Pyatov. Andriy will play more - it doesn’t depend on how Trubin feels. But this time I’ve decided that Trubin will play.
