Training for Welcome through Football project participants

Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society grounded the Welcome through Football project participants in providing first aid.

 

Let us remind you that the Welcome through Football project is aimed at exchanging experience and developing a football-based social inclusion methodology. The project not only provides for football sessions, but also gives children the opportunity to participate in various activities: to attend matches and training sessions of the first team, participate as volunteers in various Shakhtar Social initiatives.

 

The Welcome through Football project is being implemented with the support of the European Football for Development Network (EFDN) and the UEFA Foundation for Children. Foundations of six other European football clubs participate in it: Benfica (Portugal), Werder Bremen (Germany), Everton, Sheffield United (both based in England), Emmen (Netherlands) and Apollon Limassol (Cyprus).
