Shakhtar in the Netherlands: preparation for the match

The team is preparing for the charity match against Ajax
Shakhtar continues pre-season work on the training camp in the Netherlands.
On Monday, July 25, the Miners ran training session with an eye on tomorrow sparring match. The session was started with running and warming-up, then coaching staff of Igor Jovicevic offered exercises with balls, short and medium passing drills, as well as practicing of different game situations. Goalkeepers had their separate programme under the leadership of Francisco Galan.
At the end, all players worked on tactics and had a pre-game training on the half of the field. We want to point out that Mykola Matviienko, Lassina Traoe, and Maryan Farina were training individually.
The Ajax vs. Shakhtar charity match as a part of the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace will take place on July 26 in Amsterdam. The encounter at the Johan Cruijff Arena is at 21:00 Kyiv time. The match will be streamed live.
Proceeds from the sale of tickets and advertising will be used to purchase everything necessary for the defenders of Ukraine, Ukrainian citizens and children affected by the war. A total of UAH 13.2 million has been raised through the 5 charity matches played in the spring.
We want to point out that from February 24 to July 1, SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and FC Shakhtar have granted more than UAH 2.7 billion or about USD 90 million to help Ukraine and Ukrainians, with the amount increasing daily. Humanitarian aid has already reached over 3 million people.
